The
Americana Series features guitars built from woods native to North America. My first priority has and always will be
exceptional tone. North America is home to some of the best tone wood in the world, capable of producing guitars that are
second to none. In an effort to diminish our impact of the environment, I am a strong
proponent of the local movement. The steel string guitar has a very rich American history, so it is a natural fit to make guitars from native
American woods. I encourage my customers to check out these outstanding sounding guitars.
The guitar shown below is a Model S15 and has been dubbed
the “New Yorker” since all of the woods were obtained in my home state of New York. This guitar features
Adirondack Spruce soundboard and bracing, quartersawn black walnut back and sides, butternut/hard maple/black walnut neck, fumed pear
fingerboard and bridge, hard maple binding, butternut linings and birdseye maple burlwood accents. This guitar also features an internally adjustable
action neck. Enjoy!
